Happy New Year.
Jan 9-11 Skiing weekend –We are staying at the Bassett Building and skiing at Mohawk Mountain. We have a limited number of bunks available at the Bassett Bldg for Scouts who do not want to ski at Mohawk Mtn. Cross Country Skiing at camp will be available for $10. Hot water will be provided, bring hot cereal & hot cocoa packets for Sat & Sun breakfast, scouts not skiing should bring a bagged lunch. Beef Stew will be provided for dinner.
Jan 24, 2009 – Housatonic Council Klondike Derby at Black Rock State Park, Thomaston.
Early bird registration to Mr. Oppel is $4, after Jan 14 it goes to $9.
Stations similar to last year’s Klondike. Each patrol to provide hotdogs, buns, cooking utensil & condiments. Cooking fire and Hot Cocoa to be provided by Troop 3.
Patrol Sledge status?
The next Court of Honor is in March – All patrols should be working on rank advancement and each scout should be working on at least 1 merit badge.

Troop meetings will not be cancelled due to weather. Please attend if you can safely make it.
