Dec 5-7 – Tierney Lean-tos Troop Campout this weekend

Arrive at Strang Scout Reservation after 6PM on Dec 5, Depart by 10AM on Dec 7. Expect to walk to the lean tos from the main camp parking lot. Scouts must pack so that they are carrying all gear, not their parents. We will have frame backpacks available on Wed night for anyone who needs one. Use bungee chords to fasten items like sleeping bags, tarps, and other gear to your pack. Be prepared for a great weekend!

Dec 13 – Troop Committee Christmas Gathering – RSVP to Chuck & Kathy Hemstreet at 888-6417 by 12/6.

Dec 17 is Troop Court of Honor and Christmas Party – Each patrol to do Christmas song & original Christmas skit. Bring a $5 wrapped grab bag gift and cookies.

Dec 20 – PLC trip to NYC, 8AM to 8PM, cost $20, need to know who from the PLC is going. Must sign up with Mr. Oppel by Dec 10.

There will be no Troop Meeting on Dec 24 or Dec 31 and no PLC meeting on Dec 21 or Dec 28.

Sat, Dec 27 – Old Timer’s Night Troop Meeting 7 to 9PM at Derby 2^nd Congregational Church. This annual event has been held since the 1940s for current and former scouts and their families.

Jan 9-11 Skiing weekend – PLC to Killington, Vermont and rest of troop staying at Bassett Building and skiing at Mohawk Mountain. We need to know who from the PLC is going to Killington by Dec 17 and Mr. Laskos will have Mohawk Mtn ski information , signup with Ray Oppel by Dec 17.

the IV was fine. Finally, someone took the tape off my hand and found out the IV wasn't in right. IVs are not for wimps, that's for sure. And QB, you are no wimp. You are smart and betiauful and I love it when you look at me funny you just think I'm weird, right? Love you sweet girl!
