DERBY - Planning for the upcoming 15th annual Ed Strang Community Day is under way. The event began in 1994, when stage and screen star Brian Dennehy returned to Derby to honor his long time Housatonic Council Pack 3 Derby Cubmaster, Scouting pioneer and Derby Hall of Fame inductee Edmund D. Strang. This year's event will take place on September 28 from noon to 4PM on the Derby Green.
Ed Strang Community Day is an opportunity for the Lower Naugatuck Valley community to participate in the adventures of Scouting and at the same time learn about environmental conservation, nature and community service.
In addition to the many scouting skills stations like cooking, pioneering, first aid, camping and physical fitness stations being run by the scouts of Pack 3, Troop 3 and Venture Crew 33, the highlight of the event will be world renown raptor expert Jonathon Woods, presenting his birds of prey featuring 15 to 20 raptors including the symbol of America, the bald eagle. More information on Jonathon Wood and the exciting raptor presentation is here www.raptorproject.com and here: Download raptor_project_promo_material.PDF
The event is being sponsored by several businesses and organizations and will be free to the public.
Also, free membership will be offered to any youth who joins Cub Scout Pack 3, Boy Scout Troop 3 or Venture Crew 33 during the event.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I in finding this matter to be actually something that I feel I might never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I am having a look ahead on your next post, I will try to get the dangle of it! pozycjonowanie http://ambitni.eu/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=4998
