Hi Steve Thank you for the email. The National Capital Area Council 50/20 is currently limeitd to local Boy Scout Troops. We simply do not have the resources to support a larger event at this time. V/rTom 50/20 Hike Manager

I so hope that when Kids Are Heroes gets as big as the Boy Scouts I don't act like that scout master did. That's just so obixunoos. I do want to humbly offer a alternative though. Sit down with your son at the Kids Are Heroes web site (www.kidsareheroes.org) and see if any sparks fly. We certainly don't sell it we just want families to know it's there. The reason we have become so successful so quickly is because we don't tell the kids what project they have to work on. We help them light their passions and then support them. But if it's not your son's cup of tea, I'm sure he will find himself. He is still very young so don't forget that.
